I am a colorist and impressionist whose paintings are reflected by my enjoyment of color and a fresh uninhibited approach to painting.
I discovered my love for art as a child where I grew up in Oceanside, California in the 1960’s. I began doing portraits by using my family and friends as models. Later, I studied Fine Art and Illustration at Spokane Falls College under artists, Jack Rogers & Dick Ibach. I also attended workshops with artist Ted Goershner and many others.
My passion for color and expression have been influenced by the great painters Cezanne, Van Gogh, Gauguin and Russian impressionists.
A lifelong devotion to painting is inspired by my desire to express human emotion and a true passion for Fine Art.
My Studio is in peaceful Big Bear, California where I concentrate on my Fine Art and Murals.
